Project Introduction: In April 2019, Longma successfully supplied 2,117 tons of API 5L Gr.B PSL2 welded steel pipes for a major natural gas transmission project in Santa Cruz, Bolivia — one of the country’s most important energy hubs.

The project adopted large-diameter line pipe with the specification of 812.8mm OD × 9.53mm WT × 11,800mm length, designed for high-pressure gas transmission trunk lines. These pipelines form a critical part of the regional energy infrastructure, ensuring stable and efficient transportation of natural gas from production areas to processing facilities and downstream distribution networks.

As a typical API 5L PSL2 grade pipeline project, it required strict control over chemical composition, mechanical properties, and impact toughness to ensure long-term safety and reliability under demanding operating conditions. All pipes were manufactured in compliance with API 5L PSL2 requirements, including enhanced testing and quality assurance procedures suitable for high-pressure transmission service.

This project demonstrates Longma’s capability to supply large-diameter, high-grade welded line pipes for international oil and gas transmission projects, particularly in challenging energy infrastructure environments such as South America.
